While the day to day needs of our building and residents are handled by our on-site property manager and the rest of our front desk and security staff, The Colonnade is completely self managed. The 5 seat board of directors is a group of owners who are elected annually by all of the owners here at The Colonnade.
Our building was built in 1932 and was the original site for the Wills Eye Hospital. In 1980 Wills Eye moved to 9th and Walnut streets and the building was then converted into apartments. In 1996 the apartments were converted into condominiums and The Colonnade Historic Condominiums were born
Our goal is to provide a safe, clean, and welcoming home for our residents. At the same time, we strive to ensure that every unit, here at The Colonnade, is a sound and prosperous investment.
We are a diverse group of individuals from a wide variety of backgrounds, geographical locations, ages, faiths, and beliefs. Anyone looking to live in one of the best areas of the city, surrounded by some of the best people in the city, should consider purchasing a home at The Colonnade Historic Condominiums.
